June had quite the eventful day. She and Nick became the first Sunrise Falls residents to wed, in a beautiful morning ceremony overlooking the park. At work she received her first batch of irate reader mail, for a negative film review she'd written, and was called into her editor's office. Fearing the worst, she was instead given quite the surprise: a promotion to the print publication as fact checker! Quite the wedding present!

In other love news, two more couples got engaged: Charlie and Angelique, and Vik (who once again made his way back into employment at the ground level) and Naomi. The two new brides-to-be met up at The Valley Boutique to go dress shopping together and ran into the newlyweds, who offered their best wishes and congratulations.

With two newspaper employees now in the community, word spreads fast, especially when it concerns affairs of the heart. How else to explain Jed finding out about Lissa's one night stand with Tom?
